A phone line that works if you can't use a phone

Millions of people can't use a voice line, and for most businesses the honest answer to "how do they contact you?" is an email address nobody monitors.

Call by text puts them in the same queue as everyone else, in real time, with the same AI, the same knowledge and the same handover to a person. It isn't a chat widget wearing a different hat — it is literally the same call, the same session and record, with typing instead of speech. Nobody is routed to a lesser version.

If you have duties to make reasonable adjustments, and especially if you sell to the public sector, this is the section to read twice. No competitor ships an accessible call channel as a first-class surface rather than an afterthought. It also happens to be the mode that works on the weakest connection, which is why it earns its place twice over.
